London Ambulance Service is calling on Harrow residents to take part in an abseiling challenge at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday, 14 March.
Participants will descend 42 metres off the stadium roof to raise funds for the London Ambulance Charity, supporting the work of paramedics and volunteers from the London Ambulance Service.
Rakesh Patel, Chief Finance Officer at London Ambulance Service and a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur fan, said: “This is a really fun and exhilarating experience for those with enough daring to take on the challenge. All money raised for London Ambulance Charity will make a huge difference to us and the people of London – it will help fund life-saving defibrillators in the areas of the capital that need them most, and support our hard-working staff and volunteers.
“I have been a huge fan of the team for such a long time and I know this will give all those participating a great opportunity to see this amazing stadium from a whole new perspective. So, whether you’re a Spurs fan or not, we’d urge you to join us for the Big Stadium abseil!”

Dr Jessica Burgess, Head of Charity Development for the London Ambulance Charity, said:
“The abseil is set to be a memorable event offering breath-taking views of the stadium.
“So if you are brave enough, sign up and join us for a thoroughly exciting adventure in our beautiful city.”
The challenge, open to 100 participants, involves climbing 100 steep steps before abseiling off the stadium edge. The funds raised will contribute to the London Heart Starters campaign, which aims to add 200 defibrillators in areas with limited access, and will also support staff and volunteer wellbeing initiatives.
Harrow residents interested in participating can register for the event. A registration fee of £25 applies, and participants are asked to raise £100 for the charity.
