As children across Harrow and nearby areas return to school this week following the Christmas break, several roadworks are scheduled that may cause disruptions. Drivers are urged to plan their journeys to avoid delays.
Harrow View remains closed in both directions at the junction with Radnor Road due to ongoing works by Thames Water, in addition to works by Cadent on the same road. The works will last until around 22 January.
Burnt Oak Broadway in Edgware will have a lane closure on 6 January for planned maintenance by O2 (UK) Limited.
Cannon Lane in Pinner will have two-way traffic signals from 7 January to 9 January for essential maintenance by Affinity Water. Clamp Hill in Harrow Weald will also see two-way traffic signals from 7 January to 9 January due to works by Openreach.
Similarly, Kenton Lane in Harrow Weald will be affected for works by Affinity Water from 7 January to 14 January.
In Wealdstone, the High Street will have give-and-take traffic control from 7 January to 9 January due to works by Harrow Council.
Nearby, Station Road in Harrow will have two-way traffic signals in place from 7 January to 10 January as Affinity Water carries out maintenance.
Additional roadworks in surrounding boroughs include Edgware Road in Brent, which will have road closures from 6 January to 7 February for maintenance by Cadent.
Harrow Road in Wembley will have two-way traffic signals from 6 January to 8 January due to works by Openreach.
Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time for their journeys, particularly during school travel hours.
