Despite the snow and cold weather, 110 residents from Harrow attended the ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ event, held in association with Conversation Café, this week.
The event brought together several multi-agency groups, providing attendees with advice and information in a one-stop setting.
David Neal, PCSO for West Harrow, represented Harrow Policing at the event. He said: “What a great start to the New Year, with so many residents attending today. From a Policing point of view, this provides the general public an informal drop-in session, where they can discuss any policing matter. We can then assist, advise, signpost and provide tailored information for each resident.

“For those who couldn’t make today’s events, I would encourage everyone to do a Crime Prevention review/check. In regards to protecting your home from Crime, protecting yourself from Crime, keeping vehicles safe and if you run a business, in keeping your business safe.
“Please find a link https://www.met.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/ to the Metropolitan Police website which will provide further information in regards to these areas with some useful suggestions. If you wish to discuss this further, then you are very welcome to attend future events and I would be delighted to discuss this through with any resident.”
Future event dates will be shared via the Metropolitan Police’s social media channels and Harrow Online in the coming weeks. Residents are encouraged to stay updated for opportunities to attend.
