Greenhill officers conducted retail visits in Harrow Town Centre as part of Op Retail, a police initiative aimed at educating businesses on handling shoplifting and reporting incidents.
Shops visited included Lidl, Sports Direct, M&S, Wenzel’s, Primark, St George’s Shopping Centre, and others on St Anns Road. Businesses welcomed the police presence, noting reduced shoplifting losses and increased staff confidence.
The visit follows Commissioner of Police Sir Mark Rowley trip to Harrow Town Centre last month, where he showed support for the boroughs new policing lead, Superintendent Zubin Writer.
There have been notable improvements in Harrow Town Centre.
