Police investigating an altercation in Watford are appealing for information and witnesses following a successful charging decision.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said, “Between 8.45am and 9.05am on Wednesday 5 February, an altercation involving the driver of a white Kia and the driver of a black Citroen took place between Middle Way and Beechwood Rise.
“A woman, aged in her 20s, was allegedly assaulted and sustained a head injury.
“Following an investigation, Gemma Simpson, aged 34 and of Sheriff Way, Watford, was charged with assault causing actual bodily harm. She has been released on conditional bail ahead of a first appearance at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Friday 7 March.”
Investigator Daryl Allwood in the Case Investigation Team said: “We are still appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and saw what happened to please get in touch. I can be emailed directly.
“Additionally, if you have any dash cam footage of the incident, please upload it via DAMS.”
