A Harrow resident has created a new card game and is preparing to launch a crowdfunding campaign to bring it to life.
Hasan Paracha, who was born in Northwick Park and has lived in Harrow all his life, has developed ‘Fight For Inheritance’, a game where players compete to be the last one standing in a battle for wealth and power.
The game is based on a story about the Krazy King, who is near death and decides not to favour any of his children with his fortune. Instead, he declares he will throw everything into the ocean unless he had just one child, which leads the Prince and Princesses to plot against each other in a battle of greed and survival.
The game uses a “last one standing” mechanic where players must defend themselves with bodyguards, use gold and action cards to bribe others, and attempt to eliminate their opponents.

“The game came about when I got made redundant almost a year ago and in that time I felt mentally refreshed not having to think about work or winding down and I believe that is what helped my creative juices flow. I was also playing a lot of board games, card games and video games so I think I was getting ideas through those as well. So being made redundant was definitely a blessing in disguise. Another thing that made me want to do this was that my sister is an artist and has always struggled to get her art out there, and I got her onboard to do the art for this game, so then I was able to create a game and she was able to show off her amazing art skills.”
Hasan is now encouraging people to sign up to the Kickstarter preview page to be notified when the campaign launches:
