The Range has officially opened its doors in Ruislip, marking the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Councillor Philip Corthorne.
The new superstore occupies the former Homebase site and includes the introduction of ‘Kitchens by Homebase’ and a ‘Garden Centre by Homebase’ for the first time at a Range store.

‘Kitchens by Homebase’ offers customers the opportunity to choose their kitchen, with design specialists available to assist with the process. This addition is aimed at providing a single location for various home improvement needs.
The opening event attracted numerous visitors, and the first 50 customers received goodie bags containing popular products. Notable prizes were awarded to some customers, including a Lay-Z-Spa Singapore AirJet Plus Hot Tub, a Charleston 2 Burner BBQ, and an 18v Cordless Combi Hammer Drill.

Brand representatives from Dulux and Westland attended to provide product demonstrations and promotions.
Alex Simpkin, CEO of CDS Superstores, trading as The Range, wilko and Homebase, said: “We’re thrilled to open the doors in Ruislip today and introduce customers to the new The Range superstore experience. The exciting addition of the ‘Kitchens by Homebase’ to this format continues to provide customers with home improvement solutions, all under one roof.

“It was amazing to see the community come together to celebrate and we’re proud to offer such a fantastic range of products and prizes to thank them for their support.”
The new store allows customers to use a free Click & Collect service, with purchases ready within 60 minutes, and maintains The Range’s dog-friendly policy, permitting dogs on leads to enter the store.

Further information is available on The Range’s website.
