A man has suffered serious injuries following an assault in Harrow Town Centre this morning (26 March).
A member of the Harrow Online Group on Facebook sent in footage showing Greenhill Place Market cordoned off at around 10:30am.
The man was reportedly attacked by a gang of thugs and taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said, “Police were called at 10:16hrs on Wednesday, 26 March following reports of an assault in Harrow Town Centre.
“Officers attended the scene at Greenhill Place Market, St John’s Road, and requested the assistance of London Ambulance Service colleagues, to treat a man who had allegedly been assaulted by a group of men.

“The 35-year-old man suffered serious injuries but they are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests have as yet been made.
“Enquiries are ongoing.
“If you were a witness, please call police on 101 with reference 2282/26Mar.”
