A man was arrested near Morrisons in Hatch End after police responded to reports of suspicious behaviour.
According to a post by Harrow MPS on social media, two officers attended the scene last Thursday, 24th April.
After a short chase, the male was detained and arrested for being wanted on recall to prison and for assaulting an emergency worker.
In law, being wanted on recall to prison can result in the individual being returned to custody to complete the remainder of their sentence.
Assaulting an emergency worker is a criminal offence that can lead to a prison sentence of up to two years, depending on the severity of the assault.
Enquiries are ongoing.
