The second category in the 2025 Harrow Online Awards has been announced – Best Park in Harrow.
Following the success of the first category, Best Fish and Chip Shop – which saw Belmont Bay crowned the winner and presented with their award on Friday – we’re now turning to the borough’s fantastic parks.

Chris Mitchell, Founder of Harrow Online, said: “These parks have been chosen based on location, size, and popularity with our readers based on previous polls. We wanted to include parks that represent every corner of Harrow and that are widely used and appreciated by the local community.”

Voting for this category will be 100% public and will take place in the Harrow Online Facebook Group. It opens next week and will run for seven days. Stay tuned for the official announcement.
In the UK, volunteer groups dedicated to supporting local parks are commonly known as “Friends of Parks” groups. These independent, community-led organisations work with local councils to enhance, maintain, and promote parks for everyone’s benefit. They often organise events, raise funds, run clean-up projects, and campaign for improvements beyond their means.
It’s these volunteers – the “Friends of” groups and local supporters – who will receive the actual Harrow Online Award trophy for Best Park.
Sponsorship packages for the 2025 Harrow Online Awards are now available. If your business is interested in getting involved, please get in touch via info@harrowonline.org, or WhatsApp 07999 293 922.
Stay tuned – and don’t forget to vote next week.
