Three men have been arrested in London as part of an investigation led by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.
The arrests took place on Saturday, 3 May. Two men, aged 39 and 44, were arrested at separate addresses in north-west London, and a third man, aged 55, was arrested at an address in west London.
All three men, who are Iranian nationals, were arrested under section 27 of the National Security Act 2023. They remain in custody while searches continue at the three addresses.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “ This investigation is not linked to the arrest of five other people on Friday as part of a separate Counter Terrorism operation.”
Enquiries are ongoing.
