A new Punjabi restaurant is preparing to open its doors in North Harrow at the site of the former Red Cup Café.
The Maharaja Sweets & Savouries, which already operates branches in Southall and on Alexandra Avenue in Harrow, will be opening a third location at 33 Station Road. The premises were most recently used by another business, Nimmy’s Kitchen, which occupied the site after Red Cup Café.
On its website, the company describes itself as “a premier and authentic Punjabi Restaurant” that has been “proudly serving the West London area and beyond since 2016,” with a mission to offer freshly prepared, high-quality food.

The restaurant will be open daily from 8.30am to 9.30pm and will serve a wide variety of vegetarian dishes including samosas, pakoras, wraps, and traditional chaat. Customers can also choose from several meal deals such as chana bhature and halwa puri.
A range of Punjabi curries will be available, with options like saag paneer, matar paneer, daal makhni, and baingan bharta. The menu also features Chinese-inspired vegetarian dishes such as chilli paneer, hakka noodles, and veg Manchurian.
The restaurant will also serve a large selection of Indian sweets (mithai) including jalebi, gulab jamun, barfi, and rasgulla, many of which are priced by the kilogram.
The opening date for the North Harrow branch has not yet been announced.
