A woman was arrested at Stanmore underground station yesterday evening following an incident that caused part of the Jubilee Line to be suspended.
Members of Harrow Online spotted police at the scene shortly after the disruption began.
The suspension affected services between Wembley Park and Stanmore, with Transport for London confirming there was a “customer incident” at Stanmore just before 7pm on 11 May.
One member of the public told Harrow Online: “I’m not sure if you are aware, but the Jubilee Line is suspended between Wembley Park and Stanmore due to a customer incident.
A travel alert issued at 6:53pm confirmed that London Underground ticket holders were being accepted on alternative routes due to the incident. The alert was cleared by 7:05pm.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said, “Officers were called to Stanmore underground station at 6:39pm yesterday (11 May) following reports of a woman acting in an abusive and threatening manner towards members of the public.
“Officers attended and a 28-year-old woman from Bromley was arrested on suspicion of Drunk and Disorderly, Common Assault and Section 4 Public Order.”
