A widespread power outage has caused major disruptions on several London Underground lines, which could affect travel plans for Harrow residents.
The Bakerloo line was fully suspended, while the Jubilee line faced severe delays and was partially suspended between London Bridge and Finchley Road. The Elizabeth line was also experiencing severe delays, with a section between Paddington and Abbey Wood out of service.
While the Metropolitan line, which serves Harrow, wasn’t affected.
Transport for London said the disruption was caused by a brief power outage in south-west London, which was linked to an issue with the National Grid. The temporary loss of power led to a system-wide shutdown across parts of the network.
