A 21-year-old man has been charged with three counts of arson with intent to endanger life following fires at two properties and a car, all reportedly linked to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Roman Lavrynovych, a Ukrainian national from Sydenham in southeast London, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Emergency services were called to a house in Kentish Town, north London, in the early hours of Monday after a fire was reported. The property is believed to be connected to Sir Keir, who previously lived there with his family.
Another fire was reported less than 24 hours earlier at a property in Islington, which is also linked to the Prime Minister.
A car was also set on fire on the same street as the Kentish Town house.
