Officers from Edgware and Centenary Safer neighbourhood teams have been focusing on driving down violent crime.
On Thursday 15th May, reports were made that suspicious activity was taking place near Canon’s Park tube station. The team attended the venue and quickly identified the suspect.
A 14-year-old male was found in possession of a large knife and was arrested at the scene, he was then taken to a north London police station and charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

Inspector Graig Bradley from Harrow MPS said, “This is another example of the outstanding proactive police work Harrow officers are carrying out, ensuring that the people of Harrow are safe, there is no place for these weapons on our streets”.
