One of the most popular pubs on the Brent and Harrow border has been awarded the highest possible food hygiene rating.
The Black Horse, located at 1018 Harrow Road in Sudbury, received a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good) following an inspection by the London Borough of Brent on 14 March 2025.
The pub was rated “Very Good” across all key areas, including confidence in management, food hygiene and safety, and structural compliance.
The Black Horse, which recently underwent a full refurbishment, is well known in the area and often busy with local residents from both Harrow and Brent. The latest inspection result will come as welcome news to regulars and visitors.
