Specsavers in Pinner has launched a new range of Elton John Eyewear, paying tribute to the music icon who grew up in the area.
The exclusive collection features 12 optical frames and two limited-edition sunglasses, each named after a key song or milestone in Elton John’s career. Designs include frames named after Crocodile Rock, Tiny Dancer, and Yellow Brick Road.
The new range, available only at Specsavers, includes distinctive signature details such as an ‘E’ mark – representing Elton’s personal stamp of approval – and a star symbol reflecting his celebrated career.
Sonia Kumar, ophthalmic director at Specsavers Pinner, said: “To honour the fact that Elton John is originally from Pinner, we decided to bring the frames to life and show them off to our customers, especially as many of them had commented on the new range and amazing launch display.”
“I’m sure they’ll appeal to his fans and glasses wearers who like to make a statement and show off their individuality and style.”
Elton John spent his early life in Pinner and attended Pinner County Grammar School before going on to become one of the UK’s most famous musicians.
The eyewear range is available in stores now.
