Volunteers and committee members at Headstone Manor Park have officially received their trophy and certificate after being voted ‘Best Park in Harrow’ in the 2025 Harrow Online Awards.
The park, located in North Harrow, came out on top following a tightly contested public vote in the Harrow Online Facebook Group, beating Pinner Memorial Park and Canons Park into second and third place. Over 1,100 people took part in the vote, which ran for one week.
Stephen Mills, Chair of Friends of Headstone Manor Park, said: “The Committee and Volunteers were only to pleased to be presented with the trophy and certificate for being voted Best Park in Harrow following the public vote. We are extremely proud of the award and this will be displayed for all to see at our events throughout the year.”

Those accepting the award included Stephen (Chair), Adrian (Website), Sara, Sebastian & Tim (Committee Members) along with Simon (Headstone Ward Councillor).
Chris Mitchell, Founder of Harrow Online, said: “It’s really exciting to see Headstone Manor Park get the recognition it deserves. We’re pleased that there’s so much public support for our parks – they’re a big part of what makes Harrow special. We’re also currently looking for local sponsors to get involved in the awards, so if anyone is interested, please get in touch.”
Headstone Manor Park is home to a range of facilities, including open spaces, football pitches, and the Headstone Manor Museum. It’s a popular destination for local residents and continues to be supported by an active group of volunteers and the local community.

Cllr Simon Brown added, “As one of local Harrow Councillors for the Headstone area, and a long time user of the park, I am tremendously proud of all the work from Friends of Headstone Manor, Harrow Council parks dept and the scores of volunteers that help make this such a wonderful park. This Harrow Online award recognises all of this and is richly deserved. We are so fortunate in Harrow to have so many great parks for our local residents to enjoy, and it comes as no surprise that so many people took part in voting for this award.”
The Harrow Online Awards are designed to highlight and celebrate local favourites entirely chosen by the public. So far, two categories have been decided in 2025, with more to come.
The next award category will be announced next week via the Harrow Online Facebook Group. Stay tuned to get involved and have your say.
