Thousands gathered today for the annual Pinner Fair, one of Harrow’s biggest and most cherished events.
The village was once again transformed into a colourful celebration of community, food, and fairground fun. Familiar favourites including the dodgems, ghost train, and the Terminator attracted hordes of thrill seekers.

The usual beloved stalls returned, with a few new additions. It was a sweet-treat galore, with everything from doughnuts and candy floss to slushies and cocktails up for grabs. Local restaurants Misya Meze Grill and Awadh joined the festivities with food stalls offering an array of snacks and drinks.
Despite a few grey clouds, the sun made a welcome appearance, ensuring this year’s event wasn’t a wash out.
There was an array of prizes up for grabs at the game booths, including giant octopuses, cows, and teddy bears, drawing in excited children and nostalgic adults alike.
Held on the final Wednesday of every May, this year marked the fair’s 688th year. The tradition dates back to 1336, when the fair was granted a Royal Charter by King Edward III. Apart from a break during the Second World War and Covid, the fair is held come rain or shine.

It remains a highlight of Pinner’s calendar, allowing residents to come together for a day of family fun and a chance to appreciate the Pinner spirit.
