A car crashed into a garage next to a house in West Harrow on Monday afternoon, prompting an emergency response from the London Fire Brigade.
The incident happened on Blenheim Road at around 4:30pm. Firefighters from Wembley and Harrow fire stations attended the scene and made the area safe.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told Harrow Online: “Fire crews from Wembley and Harrow fire stations were called to a road traffic collision on Blenheim Road in Harrow yesterday at 1630.
“One car collided with a detached garage adjacent to a house. There’s no reports of any injuries. Crews helped make the scene safe. The incident was over for firefighters at 1652.”
According to a witness, the car had four people inside at the time of the crash. Two of the occupants reportedly fled the scene: “Two male suspects ran away hopping over gardens whilst two females who were also in car stayed behind and were questioned but in the end nothing happened to them and they were let go.”

Another person told Harrow Online: “The car also had a 6 month old puppy inside.” The puppy was said to be shaken up by the crash but was not harmed.
The cause of the collision remains unknown at this stage.
