Park High School in Stanmore has been named the 2025 National Champion at the Coding Success Live event, held at LEGOLAND Windsor. The event was run in partnership with the Royal Air Force, Raising Robots and LEGO Education.
The school was one of only ten across the UK selected to take part in the event, which forms part of the global First LEGO League Challenge. The competition encourages students aged 9–16 to use robotics, coding, and design to solve real-world problems.

One of the key challenges was the “Rope Rescue,” where teams had to programme autonomous LEGO robots to complete a simulated rescue mission. Park High’s team completed the task successfully after months of preparation.
Mrs Kerai, Head of Design and Technology, said: “This year’s Robotics team has once again demonstrated the values that define Park High School—teamwork, resilience, and integrity throughout the entire process. I’m incredibly impressed by the time, dedication, and passion they’ve invested in the D&T department’s Robotics team.”
Mrs Rajaram, Head of Engineering, added: “It has brought out the very best in our students. Their ability to think critically and work independently under pressure was incredibly impressive.”

The school’s Robotics programme is a key part of its STEM curriculum and helps students build skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking and leadership.
