A film crew has been spotted in Pinner this week, with speculation growing that the shoot could be for an upcoming Netflix series.
Filming is believed to be taking place around Love Lane and Avenue Road on Thursday and Friday (6 June), where a number of production vehicles and crew members have been seen by local residents.
One person, a member of the Harrow Online Group, said: “There’s something being filmed in Pan up. I’m not sure what it is but it looks like a big production and there’s loads of personnel there. There’s several trucks on Avenue Road.”
While the exact project hasn’t been confirmed, the scale of the setup has caught the attention of people in the area, who’ve described it as a large operation.
Pinner is no stranger to film and TV crews. Back in 2022, scenes for One Life, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins, were filmed locally. The film told the story of Sir Nicholas Winton, who helped rescue hundreds of children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia before World War II.
The area has also featured in a number of other productions over the years, including Rocketman, the Elton John biopic, as well as popular TV shows like The Inbetweeners, Nowhere Boy, and BBC sitcoms May to December and My Hero. Even an episode of Killing Eve gave a nod to Pinner.
With its mix of traditional charm and recognisable streets, it’s not surprising Pinner continues to attract major productions.
