An eatery in Kenton has been given the lowest possible food hygiene rating following an inspection by Harrow Council.
Ganesh Aloopuri, located at 380 Kenton Road, was inspected on 7 May 2025 and received a rating of zero, meaning urgent improvement is necessary.
The restaurant, located just off the main road, behind a row of shops is now temporarily closed but will re-open again in a couple of weeks, according to management.
Inspectors said improvement was needed in food hygiene and safety, while structural compliance and confidence in management both required ‘major improvement’.
The rating was published by the Food Standards Agency. Businesses that receive a zero rating must take urgent steps to raise standards before a follow-up inspection is carried out.
Harrow Online have approached Ganesh Aloopuri for comments.
