Bombay Central in Harrow Weald has been officially crowned Best Indian Restaurant in the 2025 Harrow Online Awards, following a hugely popular public vote that saw nearly 2,000 people take part.
The restaurant came out on top after a week of public voting and community discussion, narrowly beating Everest Abercorn in Stanmore, which finished a very close second.
Blue Ginger in Kenton, Social Dhaba in Hatch End, and Everest Spice in Edgware also received a high number of votes, highlighting the strength and variety of Indian cuisine across the borough.

The new category was introduced this year following overwhelming demand from Harrow Online’s Facebook group members, who asked for a dedicated award to recognise local Indian restaurants.
Chris Mitchell, founder of Harrow Online, said: “The response to this category has been absolutely amazing. We’ve had people tagging friends, debating their favourites and getting really involved – which is exactly what these awards are about. A huge congratulations to Bombay Central, and to all the brilliant restaurants that were involved.”
Voting was open to the public, with group members able to nominate their own favourites in addition to a pre-selected list of 14 local restaurants.

A special feature on Bombay Central will be published soon – watch this space to find out more about the story behind the winner.
The next category in this year’s Harrow Online Awards will be announced shortly.
