Hatch End Police have shared details of a recent incident in which drugs were found during patrols around Augustine Road in Harrow Weald.
In a post on social media, a spokesperson said: “Your officers were patrolling hot spot areas around Augustine Road where drug dealing has been reported by local residents.
“Officers came across a male who was smoking what smelt like cannabis. The male was searched and drugs were found. Community resolution issued.”

A community resolution is often used for low-level offences, particularly when the individual has no previous convictions.
It may involve actions such as an apology, a commitment to attend drug awareness sessions, or other restorative measures. However, repeated incidents can result in further legal consequences.
