Emergency services were called out in the early hours of the morning after a car crashed into a tree near the roundabout that connects Victoria Road and Field End Road in South Harrow.
Images shared in the Harrow Online Group on Facebook show the scene shortly after the incident, which happened on Eastcote Lane.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said, “Firefighters were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Eastcote Lane in South Harrow. One vehicle collided with a tree. Crews made the scene safe following a fuel leak.
“Control Officers took the call at 0111 and mobilised one fire engine from Northolt Fire Station to the scene. The incident was over for firefighters at 0124.”
London Ambulance Service confirmed they were in attendance and searched for the patient, alongside police, but believe the person involved made their own way to hospital.
