A Ruislip councillor who was reported missing on Wednesday morning has now been found safe and well, police have confirmed.
Michael Riley, 65, was last seen leaving his home at 9:07am on 26 June. His disappearance was described as out of character, prompting concern from both the public and authorities.
An appeal was launched by MPS Hillingdon, with support from Devon and Cornwall Police, after it was believed he may have travelled to the Trevose Head/Padstow area.
On Wednesday evening, police confirmed that Michael had been located and is safe and well.
