Police have made an arrest after drugs were discovered during targeted patrols in the Honeypot Lane area, following concerns raised by members of the public.
Officers from the Centenary, Edgware, and Kenton East local policing teams carried out patrols after receiving reports of drug use and anti-social behaviour in the area.
Specific intelligence from residents led police to an abandoned vehicle, where they found three individuals. One of the suspects was found to be in possession of both Class A and Class B drugs. They were arrested at the scene and taken to a North London police station for processing.
Inspector Graig Bradley from Harrow’s Local Policing Team (East) said, “The work that the local team have done is directly related to concerns raised by members of the public who have every right to have this sort of thing removed from their neighbourhoods, only by continuing to work together can we deal with these issues.”
