Eggholic, a popular brand known for its Indian-style egg dishes, has officially opened its first UK location in Hatch End today. The restaurant, which started out in Chicago in 2018 before expanding to several cities in the USA and Canada, specialises in serving Indian street food with a focus on eggs cooked in a variety of styles.
Harrow Online nipped in for a quick look inside as the doors opened to customers keen to try something new. The grand opening included a special offer: the first 100 customers through the door will receive a complimentary dish every month for an entire year.
The new eatery features a colourful menu ranging from spicy curries to creamy preparations, all centred around eggs. Some of the most talked-about dishes include the Hum Tum and the Green Boiled Tikka Fry, which have already built a following overseas.

The space itself is decorated with vibrant touches inspired by Indian street markets, giving diners a casual setting to enjoy snacks and larger meals. Both non-vegetarian and vegetarian options are available.
Eggholic was originally founded by a group of friends in the US who wanted to recreate the street food flavours they missed from India. After growing a loyal fan base across North America, the team has now chosen Hatch End as their first UK site.
Today’s launch marks the brand’s first step into the British market, with plans to open more locations if the response is strong.
For anyone interested in trying out the new spot, Eggholic is now open in Hatch End from today, Friday 27 June.
