Drivers in Harrow are being urged to plan ahead, as several roadworks are set to cause delays over the next few days.
Today is Wednesday 2nd July, and some of these works have already started.
Here are the main areas to watch out for:
Boxtree Road, Harrow Weald: This road is closed from 2 July to 4 July while Harrow Council carries out works. If you usually drive this way, you’ll need to find another route.
Burhill Grove, Pinner: A road closure is planned here from 3 July to 4 July. Allow extra time if you’re heading through Pinner.
Cannon Lane, Pinner: Two-way traffic lights will be in place between 3 July and 8 July while Affinity Water does maintenance work. Expect delays during busy times.
Old Redding, Stanmore: There will be two-way signals on 3 July as MBNL carries out planned work.
St Thomas’ Drive, Hatch End: Lane closures are happening from 2 July to 4 July while Vodafone works in the area.
Uxbridge Road, Hatch End: Multi-way traffic lights will be set up from 3 July to 7 July for essential maintenance by Affinity Water.
Woodhall Drive, Pinner: This road will be closed between 3 July and 7 July while maintenance work takes place.
Headstone Lane, Harrow: Headstone Lane is still blocked today after a burst water main flooded part of the road near the railway bridge. Repairs are ongoing, and traffic is being diverted.
