Local officers carried out proactive patrols across Harrow on Saturday, leading to the arrest of two wanted individuals in less than half an hour.
While on patrol, officers spotted a man who had recently failed to appear at court for an ongoing case involving a breach of a Criminal Behaviour Order. He was swiftly arrested and taken before the courts.
Less than twenty minutes later, officers noticed a woman they believed was wanted on recall to prison. According to police, “despite the females’ best efforts in trying to dupe officers into believing that she had already been arrested for that matter,” officers conducted thorough checks and arrested her, recalling her to prison.
A spokesperson said: “Harrow’s local policing teams are proactively taking wanted offenders off the streets of Harrow to improve community safety.”
