Harrow Online has announced a new partnership with Nextdoor UK, the essential neighbourhood network, to bring news straight to people living in Harrow and the surrounding areas.
As part of the first wave of local publishers joining the platform, Harrow Online will now be sharing its stories directly on Nextdoor, giving residents another way to stay informed about what’s happening in their area.
Chris Mitchell, Founder of Harrow Online, said: “Partnering with Nextdoor marks an exciting new chapter for both Harrow Online and the platform itself. It’s a chance for us to share reliable, relevant news with our local communities in a way that meets them where they are, right in the heart of their neighbourhood conversations. As we continue to grow and evolve, this partnership allows us to not only reach more residents but also create new opportunities for engagement, dialogue, and connection.
“We’re proud to be part of a platform that values community and look forward to bringing local stories even closer to the people they matter most to.”
When Harrow residents open the Nextdoor app, they’ll be able to read local news stories from Harrow Online, share updates, leave comments and discuss stories with neighbours. The goal is to encourage more conversation and awareness around the events and issues affecting people’s daily lives.
“Local journalism is the heartbeat of our communities, making them stronger, safer, and more connected,” said Alice Skeats, Head of Partnerships for Nextdoor UK.
“We’re excited to partner with Harrow Online to deliver their trusted stories directly to neighbours on Nextdoor. By bringing local news to our platform, we’re keeping everyone informed, connected and ready for whatever’s happening in their neighbourhoods.”

Harrow Online is one of 3,500 local publishers across the UK, US and Canada using Nextdoor to connect with communities.
