An ‘elderly’ man was reportedly attacked with a brick outside Harrow Bus Station on Tuesday morning (22 July), leaving him with a head injury.
The incident happened at around 9:19am on College Road. According to someone at the scene, the area was busy at the time, but only one member of the public stepped in to help the injured man while others stood by.
The woman reportedly called out for a first aid kit and began trying to stop the bleeding. A TFL worker brought over a kit, allowing her to give assistance before emergency services arrived.
An ambulance and police later attended the scene. Paramedics thanked the woman for her quick actions, which had helped control the bleeding. Police also checked on her wellbeing following the incident.
A shop worker nearby told Harrow Online, “Everyone suspects this to be a random attack.”
According to someone at the scene, the woman received no thanks from the public, and only the police acknowledged her efforts.
