Two separate burst water mains caused disruption in Harrow early this morning (Wednesday, 23 July).
The first happened just after midnight on London Road in Harrow on the Hill, near Mount Park Avenue. The road had to be closed in both directions and the H17 bus is being diverted while repairs are carried out.
A second burst main was reported around 2:40am on London Road in Stanmore. That road is also blocked both ways and buses on routes 142 and 324 are on diversion. Changes were made just before 6am to make sure services still reach Stanmore Station.
Drivers are being told to avoid both areas while the work continues. We’ll share more updates as we get them.
