Detectives investigating the murder of 30-year-old Mustapha Jatta are asking the public for help.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw a distinctive red and black Ford Fiesta in Watford or Kings Langley between late August and 17 September 2024.
The Fiesta had one red and one black wing mirror, red detailing on the front, and a red section in the middle of the dashboard.
Mustapha was shot and killed in Railway Terrace, Kings Langley, shortly after midnight on Tuesday 17 September 2024.
Detective Inspector Adam Bridges, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “As part of our active investigation into Mustapha’s murder, fresh information has led us to conduct enquiries into this distinctive vehicle. Do you recognise this car or remember seeing it in the Watford or Kings Langley area? I appreciate some time has passed, but I am hoping the identifiable features on the car may jog someone’s memory. If anyone has any information which may help progress our enquiries, please get in touch.”
Anyone with information can contact police online at https://orlo.uk/EbltZ, use the web chat at https://orlo.uk/gWCtA, or call 101 quoting Operation Tempo.
