There’s a packed line-up of things to do in Harrow over the weekend, with theatre, live music, family fun days and cultural celebrations all taking place.

Today, Saturday 2 August, Harrow Arts Centre is staging an outdoor performance of Shakespeare’s The Tempest. The show begins at 3pm and runs for just under two hours with a short interval. Tickets are £14 for adults and £12 for concessions, and audiences are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets or low-backed chairs to enjoy the performance.

Also today, The Family Cookout takes place at Preston and Mall Youth Community Centre in Wembley from 3pm. The free event promises food, drinks, games for children and music from DJs Shaff, Chaos and 5AUS3, making it a lively community get-together for all ages. Later this evening, Harrow Borough Football Club in South Harrow will host The Ska Faces, a five-piece band known for their high-energy ska and two-tone sets. Doors open at 7pm with the music starting at 9:30pm, and tickets are available in advance.
