A Harrow food business has been told major improvements are needed after receiving the lowest possible food hygiene rating.
La Farine Limited, based at Unit 3 Lexus House in Rosslyn Crescent in Wealdstone, was inspected by Harrow Council on 27 June 2025.
The business was given a 0 rating, meaning urgent changes must be made.
Inspectors found issues with food handling, cleanliness and the management of food safety. All three areas were marked as requiring major improvement.
According to Companies House, La Farine Ltd, set up last year, is listed under the category ‘manufacture of bread; manufacture of fresh pastry goods and cakes.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is run by the Food Standards Agency in partnership with local councils. A 0 rating is the lowest that can be given, while a 5 means “very good”.
La Farine Ltd has the right to appeal the decision and can request a re‑inspection once improvements are made.
