Harrow Council has announced an extra 200 booking slots per day at the borough’s recycling centre in Wealdstone.
The increase aims to make it easier for residents to dispose of their waste and recycling, especially during busy periods.
If you’re having a clear-out or doing DIY, you can now book up to two visits a day. Just book online, bring photo ID and proof of address, show it to staff, and you’re ready to unload your waste.
The recycling centre accepts general waste, garden waste, bulky items and more. Bookings can be made up to 14 days in advance, with each time slot lasting 30 minutes. Vans and trade waste are accepted but will incur charges.
The council says booking helps to reduce traffic and avoid queues.
You can find more details and make a booking via the Harrow Council website.
