Students in Kenton are celebrating another strong set of A-level results, with 25% achieving A* and A grades, and 62% achieving A* to B grades.
Claremont High School Academy saw particularly high performances in certain subjects. In Geography and Drama, every student achieved A* to B grades. Further Maths and Art saw 90% of students reach the same level, while 75% did so in Sociology.
Headteacher Ms Hyde-Boughey said: “We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students this year. Their exceptional A-level results are a true testament to their dedication, resilience and hard work, as well as the unwavering commitment of our staff.”
Among those celebrating was Krish Varsani, 18, who achieved two A* grades in Maths and Economics and an A in Physics. “I feel very relieved,” said Krish, “and very grateful for all the support from my teachers, family and friends.” He will study Civil Engineering at Imperial College London.
Devesh Patel, also 18, achieved three As in Maths, Computer Science and Physics. “I was extremely stressed the last couple of days, but all I felt was relief when I found out I’d got into my top university,” he said. He will study Computer Science and AI at Loughborough University.
Tiffany Yip, 18, achieved an A* in Maths and two As in Further Maths and Computer Science. She described the exams as “pretty stressful” and hopes to study Computer Science at King’s College London.
Ayush Trivedi, 18, received two A* grades in Maths and Biology and an A in Chemistry. “I am in utter disbelief at my results,” he said, “but extremely grateful for the grades I achieved.”
“These results open doors to a world of opportunities and reflect the high standards and supportive environment we cultivate at Claremont,” added Ms Hyde-Boughey. “We couldn’t be prouder of each and every student who has risen to the challenge and made their dreams a reality.”
