Students at Park High School in Stanmore are celebrating their strongest A Level results since the pandemic, with some heading to Oxford and medical school.
Almost 70% of students achieved grades A*-C, with overall results showing pupils made an extra half a grade progress in each subject compared to expectations.
Subjects including Chemistry, English Literature, Sociology and Media Studies saw students achieve almost a grade higher than expected, which the school says is down to the dedication of students, staff and families.

Individual successes included Mitali S., who achieved AAA, and Ilyas O., who secured A*AA. Many others also achieved top grades, with the majority now set to start university or apprenticeships in their chosen fields.
Headteacher Colette O’Dwyer said: “I am immensely proud of all our students and staff. Their hard work, determination and resilience has truly paid off. I wish them and their families every success as they take their next steps – whether to university, apprenticeships or into the world of work. I have no doubt that they will continue to inspire us all and embody the values of Park High.”
