Police in Stanmore have made a major drug arrest after proactive patrols in the area last week (commencing Monday 11th August).
Neighbourhood Policing Team officers from Hatch End Patrol base detained a suspect who was found to be breaching court-imposed bail conditions.
During the arrest, officers discovered a large quantity of Class A and B drugs with an estimated street value of around £50,000. The individual was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
The suspect has since been charged and remanded for the offences.
A Harrow MPS spokesperson said: “This operation highlights the continued commitment of local officers in Harrow to tackle crime head-on, keeping communities safe and bringing offenders to justice.”
