Students in Stanmore have celebrated another year of GCSE success today (Thursday, 21 August).
Park High School said the results continue its trend of strong academic achievement across a wide range of subjects, with particular success in sciences, arts and humanities.
Headteacher Colette O’Dwyer said: “I am incredibly proud of our Year 11 students and staff. Their achievements are a direct result of their perseverance, hard work, and the unwavering support of our dedicated staff and their families. They have shown immense character and resilience, and these results are thoroughly deserved. It is wonderful to see so many of them celebrating today as they prepare for the next chapter of their education. We wish them all the very best for the future!”
Many students will now move into the school’s Sixth Form, where popular choices include Science, Social Science and Maths.

The results come after strong A Level grades last week and round off what has been a highly successful year for Park High. Ofsted upgraded the school to “Good” in all areas in October, and the school picked up awards including the ACE School of Character, Artsmark Gold, the Bronze Equalities Award and the Quality in Careers Standard.
The school’s success included excellent results in many other subjects, including:
- Biology, Chemistry, and Physics: 100% of students achieved grades 9-5
- Music: 87.5% of students achieving grades 9-5
- Drama: 89% of students achieving grades 9-4
- Computer Science: 85% of students achieving grades 9-4
- Religious Studies: 85% of students achieving grades 9-4
- Business: 81% of students achieving grades 9-4
- Combined Science: 73% of students achieved grade 9-4
Park High also retained its titles as Harrow Schools Sports Champions for both boys and girls, becoming the first school to achieve this in consecutive years.
