A brand new restaurant had opened its doors in Harrow Town Centre, and it promises something a little different.
Pizza Vala, based at 176 Station Road, Harrow, will offer a unique twist on pizza by blending traditional Italian favourites with bold Indian flavours – along with traditional Indian street food.
Situated next to Nirvana Lounge and just a short walk from Tesco Superstore (towards the town centre), the new eatery takes over the unit previously occupied by Mail Boxes Etc (MBE), which provided postal and parcel services in the area.
A spokesperson for Pizza Vala said via their website: “Welcome to Pizza Vala. Discover our exceptional range of Indian style pizzas. Experience live puff made fresh right before your eyes. Enjoy authentic Indian street food that tantalizes your taste buds. We at Pizza Vala are passionate about food and dedicated to bringing authentic Indian flavors to our customers. Our innovative take on pizza perfectly combines traditional Indian spices and cooking techniques, ensuring a rich and flavorful experience for everyone.”
For those unfamiliar with it, live puff refers to a popular Indian-style cooking method where dough is freshly rolled, topped, and cooked on-site, often allowing diners to watch as their meal is made right in front of them.
The store is now open for business. Interest from members of Harrow Online has been gathering momentum with people keen to check it out.
One person said, “Have you seen there’s a new Indian pizza place opening in Harrow near Tesco. It’s where the toy shop used to be (an older shop now closed down). This one looks good you guys should check it out.”
The new eatery is now open every day from 7pm until midnight.
