A Harrow resident has spoken of his distress after his car was stolen in broad daylight in the Wealdstone area last week.
The victim, who lives in Harrow and did not wish to be named, said his vehicle was taken sometime between 11am and 2pm on Friday, 23 October, from Artisan Place in Wealdstone.
He told Harrow Online: “Somebody stole my car on Friday 23 October around 11am to 2pm in the Harrow Wealdstone area. They broke the glass and somehow started the car and drove away.”
The theft was reported the theft to police and has been trying to locate CCTV footage but has so far been unsuccessful.
“I reported it to the police and I am trying to get some footage everywhere but no success so far,” he said.
The stolen vehicle is a black Toyota Estima, worth around £10,000, with low mileage of just 26,000. The car also contained around £500 worth of tools hidden in the back.
“Car was worth £10,000 with low mileage, 26,000. Toyota Estima, seven-seater. I had my valuable tools worth £500 hidden in the back of my car,” he added.
