Parts of London, including Harrow, will be hit by heavy rain tomorrow as a yellow weather warning comes into force.
The Met Office has issued the warning from 6am until midnight on Saturday, 29 November, with forecasters saying the downpours could lead to flooding and travel disruption across the region.
A Met Office spokesperson said: “Rain, heavy at times, is expected to develop across southwest England on Friday night and spread northeastward during Saturday before clearing into the North Sea on Saturday night.”
They added, “Strong winds may accompany this heavy rain, particularly across eastern parts of England on Saturday night.”
Residents are being advised to plan ahead, expect slower journeys and keep an eye on any localised flooding, especially on low-lying roads and near railway lines.
Harrow is expected to see persistent rainfall through the day, with the heaviest spell likely in the early morning. Transport services may also be affected, depending on how conditions develop.
