A well-known Christmas light display at Field End Farm in Eastcote will not be taking place this year, with organisers confirming they are “having a break”.
The update was shared publicly by Field End Farm, which has hosted a Christmas light display in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH) and attracted thousands of visitors in recent years.
In a statement, organisers said: “We are taking a little break from our Christmas light display this year at Field End Farm.”

They added that the decision had not been taken lightly, following years of strong public support.
“We have had truly amazing support over the last few years from our visitors. Your generosity has helped us raise over £90,000 for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity – as well as bringing joy to thousands of families.”
Field End Farm confirmed it is a private home and said the break was partly due to family commitments and other community projects.
“This year a combination of being fully committed to a number of community projects in other areas and the desire to have a family Christmas means we, and our garden, need a little break.”

The display has previously seen tens of thousands of people visit the site, becoming a festive fixture for many local families during the Christmas period. Organisers said they still intend to return in the future.
“We fully intend to promote a Christmas Light Display in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity again at Christmas 2026.”
Despite the pause, supporters are still being encouraged to donate directly to the charity.
“We would be delighted if you could find it in your hearts to support GOSH and the fabulous work it does to improve the lives of children and their families by making a donation through our Just Giving page where the funds go directly to the GOSH Charity.”
A photograph shared alongside the update shows representatives from GOSH holding a cheque for £91,413.23, raised through the Field End Farm display.
Organisers thanked the community for their continued support, saying: “FEF and GOSH thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
