Emergency services were called to an incident in Harrow Town Centre late on Tuesday night after a man suffered a minor stab wound to his finger following an altercation.
A member of Harrow Online sent footage showing two London Ambulance Service vehicles at the junction of Headstone Road and Kymberley Road, although the altercation reportedly started at Harrow Bus Station. A police van could also be seen positioned in the middle of the road while traffic was held up at the scene.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Met Police said, “Police were called at around 23:40hrs on Tuesday, 6 December to a report of an altercation on College Road, Harrow.
“Officers attended and detained two men nearby. One had a minor stab wound to his finger and was treated by the London Ambulance Service.
“A search was carried out – nothing was found and the men were permitted to leave the scene. Enquiries are ongoing.”
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11.50pm on Tuesday 6 January to reports of an incident on College Road, Harrow.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car to the scene.
“Our first paramedic arrived on scene in less than four minutes.
“We treated a patient for a minor injury and discharged them at the scene.”
