Two suspects were arrested in Headstone during a planned early-morning police operation.
The operation began at 7am on Monday, 6 January, with officers carrying out checks on wanted individuals.
Two priority suspects were found. One was wanted for failing to comply with court-ordered electronic tagging conditions. The second was wanted for breaching notification requirements and was also linked to a burglary in Harrow in November 2025.
Police say the burglary suspect fled after being disturbed by the victim, leaving behind key forensic evidence.
By 8am, officers arrested the first suspect at an address on Shaftesbury Avenue. He was charged and remanded into custody.
Around an hour later, officers located the second suspect on Headstone Lane. Police say he directed racial abuse at officers, made threats and physically resisted arrest. Officers detained him and arrested him for racially aggravated public order offences.
Following interview, the Crown Prosecution Service charged him with burglary, breach of notification requirements, and two counts of racially aggravated public order. He has been remanded to prison ahead of his trial in February.
Police Sergeant Killian Kissane said: “This operation highlights the dedication and professionalism of our officers. Their swift, calm actions ensured two offenders were brought into custody, protecting our community and upholding justice.”
Police say the arrests form part of ongoing intelligence-led work to keep residents safe across Harrow.
