A major Ancient Egypt exhibition is opening in London later this month, with tickets now on sale.
Ramses and the Pharaohs’ Gold opens on 28 February 2026 at NEON at Battersea Power Station, bringing 180 ancient artefacts to the capital, many of which have never been seen in London before.
The exhibition is presented in partnership with Supreme Council of Antiquities and the Egyptian Museum, and follows successful runs in Paris, San Francisco, Sydney and Tokyo.
Visitors will see artefacts from the reign of Ramses II, including carved sarcophagi, animal mummies, jewellery, royal masks and amulets. One of the main highlights is the original wooden coffin that once held Ramses II’s mummy, dating back more than 3,000 years.

All artefacts are on loan from museums and historic sites across Egypt and will return to the country to be displayed at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The exhibition uses immersive galleries and digital storytelling to explore the life and legacy of Ramses the Great, who ruled Egypt for nearly 67 years during the 19th dynasty. A virtual reality experience allows visitors to explore locations including the Tomb of Queen Nefertari and the temples of Abu Simbel.
Historian and broadcaster Dan Snow has been announced as the exhibition’s lead storyteller.
Dan said: “Ramses and the Pharaohs’ Gold is more than a display of objects; it is a monumental encounter with a titan of history, and I’m honoured to help bring his story to life. For Londoners, the opportunity to stand before these 180 priceless treasures – many of which have never left Egyptian soil – is a rare moment of historical connection.”

General admission tickets start from £24.90 for adults, with discounts available for children and seniors.
